Kia Sedona: Interior Dimensions

The Kia Sedona is a spacious minivan with a versatile interior to suit a variety of families with a variety of needs. It's a 3-row vehicle, with enough seating for up to eight passengers with the available removable center seat in place.

All three rows offer plenty of space to stretch out, providing 40.9, 41.1, and 34.8 inches of legroom for passengers in the front, middle, and rear seats, respectively. In the back, you'll have 33.9 cubic feet of trunk space.

If you need more room for cargo, the third row folds down into the floor, creating a flat load space spanning 78.4 cubic feet. To utilize the whole 142 cubic-foot cargo area, simply slide the second-row seats forward. They'll store upright and out of the way, without the cumbersome action of removing or folding anything.

When you're loading up for a weekend away, you can do so easily with the available Smart-Power Liftgate. Simply stand behind the liftgate for three seconds with the key fob in your pocket and it'll automatically open, without you having to lift a finger.

Ride in Comfort in the Kia Sedona

When a family of four takes to the road for a weekend at the lake, the second-row passengers can get comfortable in the first-class lounge seats. These seats release a foot rest when they're reclined for easy napping during long road trips.

On cold mornings, the front-row seats and second-row outboard seats feature available heating. Front-row passengers can also cool down when returning to their car after a hot day on Lake Erie by activating the available ventilated seats. Keep your lunch cool, too, by storing it in the available cooling glove box.

Drivers who need to keep an eye on the precious cargo in the back will like the conversation mirror that gives you a clear view of the back seats without having to take your eyes far from the road ahead of you.

Kia Sedona Collision Mitigation Features

When you're taking your kids to baseball practice or dance class, you'll probably want to make sure you're as safe as possible while driving around town. Luckily, the Kia Sedona is designed with safety in mind.

It makes several collision mitigation features available to act as an extra set of eyes during your drives around town. If you're trying to back out of a space in a busy parking lot after your weekly grocery run, the available Rear Cross-Traffic Alert system will notify you if any cars enter your rear blind spots.

The available Blind Spot Detection system will do the same for your side blind spots when trying to change lanes. Available Lane Change Assist provides additional peace of mind when merging. When you activate your turn signal, this system will let you know if any cars in your intended lane are coming up too quickly to allow for safe merging.
